It's coming up fast, but we hope that you can find time to join us on April 11th, 2017 at 8:45 am, for a very special community breakfast, at Westminster Presbyterian Church 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster.
What a year this has been, but through it all, you have stood strong, and unwavering in your support of refugees and immigrants, not only in our communities-- but in our nation. Every day, we are grateful to you for the welcome and acceptance you continue to show to newcomers. But it is not everyday that we get to thank you like we will on April 11th!
This year's program will 'Recognize Refugee Youth' for their strength and courage. Now, more than ever, we must empower our youth to lead us boldly toward brighter days. Our youth are the future of the world, and refugee youth have persevered through obstacles and challenges like none other. This year, we present a panel of local refugee youth and young adults who are positively demonstrating true leadership and courage, within their own communities.
And as if this wasn't enough to get you there, we promise you a special guest that you will not forget. Trust us when we say, you do not want to miss this!
Let us say thank you, to you, our neighbors! And stand with us, as we celebrate and recognize the future of our communities!
Please RSVP for this free breakfast here.
