Greetings from Crossfire Youth Ministries!
This month we are highlighting: A Summer of Memories

A Summer of Memories:
This summer has been full of activities and opportunities for the children of Crossfire. Alive Church & Indiantown Mennonite church each provided a week-long VBS and about 25 children enjoyed this opportunity.

Woodcrest Retreat & Greenview Bible Camps provided scholarships for 10 children. This was a first time experience for several students. Parents shared how this time truly impacted students lives.

Students experienced a week-long mission trip to Harrisburg to serve the city in various ways and to canvas the city by handing out water or soda to residents inviting them to a block party. The block party saw over 1600 people attend with many lives changed after hearing the gospel.

Middle school girls enjoyed a day at the beach with a sleepover at Crossfire. The guys enjoyed time at High Sports racing go-carts.
High school guys enjoyed an overnight event at Woodcrest with team building exercises. They also enjoyed swimming and the water slide. The high school girls also had a beach trip and only 1 girl showed up so Caleb, Jody, Liberty and I enjoyed a day beach trip to Cape Henlopen State Park DE.

Many students came out to the 25th anniversary Crossfire Cookout. Over 150 people attended and enjoyed a fun evening of fellowship.

I personally enjoyed helping to drive the bus with 28 students from ECC church & 5 adults to Jackson Mississippi to serve in a ministry. This was a meaningful time personally as I observed how they serve in their community.

But most important - this was a summer filled with hope and encouragement to many students who need caring adults to walk beside them in difficult situations. I thank God for dedicated volunteers & employees who serve because they truly care about each of these students.

FALL BANQUET:
Coming up soon is our 5th annual banquet held this year at Yoder's Market in New Holland.
On Tuesday October 3rd from 6pm-8pm you will hear a personal testimony from Dave & Sally Adams who went from desperation to hope in Jesus as a result of this ministry. You will meet 3 generations of this family impacted by the love of Jesus Christ.
We are looking for table sponsors at $250. Individuals who will help fill tables of 8 with guests. Join us in celebrating what God is doing among us.

ASHLAND YOUTH CENTER:
Bi-weekly we continue to ministry to children in this little coal town. There is no shortage of hurting children who desperately need Hope and encouragement. Thankful for this opportunity to serve.
Join us in praying for a family that we are looking forward to hiring to serve as missionaries long term.
God knows who this family is and we looking forward to connecting with them. Several businesses have pledged the full funding of the first year for this position. God is faithful and He loves these children more than we can ever imagine.
