Introduction to Coaching Intentional Leadership Practices for Individuals and OrganizationsDuring this workshop, participants will learn what Leadership Coaching is and its various components. There will be a review of how Coaching can be used with individuals, groups, and teams. Participants will be taught about the 4 major components of the GROW model (Goals, Reality, Obstacles/Opportunities, Way Forward) of Coaching. In addition, there will be two live Coaching sessions to demonstrate the principles that have been taught. Presenter: Rev. Christine A. Sharp, PhD (candidate), PCC Date: Thursday, April 19 Time: 6:00pm-9:00pm Contact Hours: 3 Cost: $30 for Nurses, Pastors and Lay Leaders who want contact hours $10 for the General Public (not receiving CEUs) $5 for Students (not receiving CEUs) Christine serves churches and organizations as a professional coach, trainer and developer of individuals and teams, mission and vision coaching, strategic planning, conflict resolution, etc. She holds an MA in Global Organizational Leadership, and is a PhD (candidate) in Organizational Leadership at Regent University. In addition, Christine has a Professional Coach certification (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation, and is an Ordained Pastor in the Brethren In Christ Church (US). Christine currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Eastern Mennonite University, Evangelical Theological Seminary, and Tabor College (Kansas), teaching in the areas of Leadership Development, Coaching, Culture & Context, Mission and Evangelism, and Pastoral Ministry.
