Piercing Word Presents: Sermon on the Mount: The Musical and Ruth Feburary 17, 2019 3pm and 6pm In Sermon on the Mount: The Musical, witness Jesus' most famous sermon set to original music.  In this word-for-word presentation of Matthew 5-7, Jesus describes what life is like in the Kingdom of God.  Contrasted with the legalistic society of his day, Jesus teaches that though man looks on the outward appearance, God looks at the heart. Ruth focuses on how God uses the faithfulness of Ruth and Boaz to reverse the curses of Genesis 3 and continue the line of David, which God ultimately uses to bring about the birth of Jesus. Early-bird price ends March 1, 2019  Registration is open and space is limited for our 2019 Summer Theatre Camp for kids ages 10-18!  Campers will explore acting, character development, improv and theatre games, as well as participate in daily Bible study, Scripture memorization, and rehearsals led by a staff of experienced theatre professionals. Register Now! Introducing our returning Production Manager: Katie Moser Katie lives in Manheim with her lighting designer husband Tim and 3 sons Wyatt, Hudson, and Riley. She has been involved in Lancaster County theatre for over 25 years. Katie is happy to return to her role as Production Manager of Piercing Word, which is a role she served in from 2014-2018 previously. Katie has also worked on staff at LCBC Church in the Worship & Arts and Kid Ministry departments, at Sight & Sound Theatres as Production Stage Manager, and Production Manager at Servant Stage Company. She is a freelance stage manager and set designer for local Lancaster theatres such as PRiMA, the Apollo Awards at Hershey Theatre and at Lancaster Bible College as well as serving as an adjunct professor with the Music, Worship & Performing Arts Department. She graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Arts in technical theatre. Katie attends LCBC Church at the Manheim Campus with her family. There she volunteers on the tech team as tech director for LCBC gatherings and other creative projects. She loves working in local theatre with so many great friends!  Now searching for Host Homes for IGNiTE Interns! We are looking for Christian host home families who are willing to host one or two Piercing Word IGNiTE Interns for the duration of their internship. In February, we are looking to place two young men either in the same home or separate homes until the end of May.  If you are interested or would like more information on Piercing Word Host Home opportunities, follow the link below.
