With the turn of the season, brings a call for Spring and Summer events and activities! Last month we welcomed 40 newly arriving refugees to Lancaster, submitted 5 grant proposals to local and national foundations, oriented a class of newly on-boarded volunteers, and have several events that are in the works. Take a look below at a few of them and we look forward to seeing you! In solidarity, Sheila Mastropietro, Lancaster Office Director  Halfway into the fiscal year, the U.S. is once again behind on refugee admissions. That means thousands of families are still seeking safety and a new home. Join us next week on March 27th for a National Call-In Day to our elected representatives who must represent us as the community of welcome that we are! #RefugeesWelcome #LancasterWelcomes #WeStandWithALLOurNeighbors  We are grateful to you every day, but we particularly enjoy when we get to treat you to breakfast, present you with awards, and introduce you to incredible guest speakers, all while saying Thank You, for your welcome shown to refugees and immigrants of Lancaster County.
