The group, supported by Landis Communities, meets the fourth Sunday of every month. There will be a Focus on the Family video interview with Dr. Matthew Stanford, PhD: "A Look at Mental Health in the Bible." The video will be followed by discussion and a time of sharing. The public meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. This will be a Zoom meeting. The monthly meetings provide a place for those who have a loved one living with mental illness to learn and share their experiences. This walking tour includes wheelchair accessibility for seven of eight of the storytelling sites. Hosted by Mennonite Life and the African-American Historical Society of South Central PA. Tickets are $40 per person and have sold quickly in the past. Register by October 19. Collections Feature: Fraktur Your glimpse behind the scenes: see eleven fraktur pieces in the Mennonite Life collection not currently on display. Hear David Johnson, local historian, and author, discuss them on October 27, 7 pm in the Community Room of the Collections building. Following this complimentary one-hour event, enjoy a light reception and an opportunity to start your holiday shopping in our museum store. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.
