PA Family's Top 10 Wins in 2023 By God's grace, the prayers and engagement of supporters like you have helped to accomplish much this past year through PA Family. As we reach the end of the year, it is abundantly clear that we would not be able to do all we do without the partnership of so many across the Commonwealth who desire to see life, family, and religious freedom protected.  There really are small victories daily, and the impact of our work is felt without headlines. But there were many headlines this past year that helped to highlight the impact of our work. Here are highlights from 2023 that we hope will encourage you as together we head into the new year: Landmark victory for religious freedom at the U.S. Supreme Court! "Thank you to the supporters who make this all happen. I am grateful. We could not do this without you." - Gerald Groff Bill Signing: Religious freedom expanded in the classroom! Commonwealth Court victory ends government interference with local ministry. "We're thrilled with this decision so that we can continue to serve the children we love. We are grateful for the tireless prayer support." - Aaron Ziebarth, CEO of Joy El Ministries. The largest Pennsylvania March for Life yet! "Amidst this challenging landscape, those with whom we marched in Pennsylvania, including our partner, Pennsylvania Family Institute, continue to be a beacon of hope and a testament to the indomitable spirit of the pro-life movement." Jeanne Mancini, March for Life School attempting to ban prayer reverses course. School Choice Win: More parents empowered with EITC/OSTC expansion, which increases scholarships to help children attend the best school for them. Victory for 6th-grader to share Bibles in school. Crisis Averted: Harmful marijuana amendment withdrawn. Uncovering Pennsylvania's taxpayer-funded "sex-change" procedures on minors makes national headlines. A New Year at Woodcrest A new year is upon us, and we are giving thanks to God for the many blessings in 2023. This past summer, we were able to serve nearly 2,000 campers. Thanks to our sponsors, we built a new shower house, a new playground, and began construction on a new volleyball court. During, the course of the year, nearly 375 churches benefited from our programs and facilities. Additionally, many families, businesses, and organizations used our facilities. We give thanks to God for the countless volunteers and supporters who make camp ministry possible. The volunteers stuff envelopes, serve in the kitchen, repair equipment, pray over the ministry, and send financial support. As we look to a new year, take some time to listen to our Executive Director, Bill Klees, to hear what is next for the Woodcrest Mountain. Cabin Project Phase 2 Summer Staff 2024 Ever Consider Working at Camp? Camp is a great to spend your summer. Giving up a summer to serve at camp is a great spot to grow in your relationship with God, work with really awesome people, and work with kids. Our housekeepers are responsible to ensure that the various facilities are clean after guest use and ready for incoming groups.
