Presidential Note
At a lunch table this week, several students were entertaining the question of how big a sin someone could commit before they die and still enter eternity with Jesus. The conversation was lively and thoughtful and engaged critical questions for every believer, "On what does our salvation rest and how can we know we are saved?" I left that conversation reminded again of my desperate need for Jesus and my thankfulness that He is my righteousness and hope.

Perhaps this has been a weary and troubling season with little joy and much difficulty. Maybe your sins have reared their ugly head again. My hope for you this month is that you will look toward Jesus and feel the warm embrace of One who loved us to the point of death and dressed us in His robes of righteousness. You are loved. May you experience the grace of God in a fresh way this Christmas.

What's Happening at RBC?

Christmas Celebration
Our chapel was full for our annual Christmas Celebration! It was a wonderful time to come together in worship as we bring in this Christmas season.
Anne of Green Gables Production
Our fall production of Anne of Green Gables has come to a close. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the cast! We had a blast!
All Night Volleyball
Our biannual All Night Volleyball on November 17th was full of energy and excitement! Thank you to the many teams who played early into the morning and the many spectators who cheered them on!

Student Testimonial

Kalvary Freed, Second-Year Student

Rosedale has pushed me in my academics. In high school, I learned because I had to, not because I was genuinely interested in the content. The atmosphere of learning here has helped me to feel passionate about my faith and the Bible. I have cultivated a desire for learning that motivates me to be in class and complete my assignments, not for the grade, but for the information! Having professors care so deeply about us as individuals and the class's content has been deeply impactful. I can tell this love of learning will extend far beyond Rosedale, and I am so excited for the life Rosedale is helping prepare me for!

CaringBridge Site for Gideon
As some of you may know, one of our students, Gideon Magangira, was in a serious car accident several weeks ago. He has been hospitalized and is receiving ongoing care. We have made a CaringBridge site for him where we are keeping updates on him and his care. There are also opportunities to give on this site and to financially help with this situation. We are grateful for your prayers.

We are very excited to announce that in the fall of 2024 we will be starting the Rosedale School of Trades (RST), headquartered in the former Choice Books building on the edge of campus. In the RST track, students will take half-time trade school classes and half-time Bible classes, but participate full-time in the life of the RBC community. Classes offered will include Fundamentals of Carpentry, Remodeling/Interior Finishing, Electrical Wiring, and Plumbing. Titus Beitzel, former CEO of Beitzel Corporation, will serve as RST director.
