A New Year at Woodcrest


Cabin Project

A new year is upon us, and we are giving thanks to God for the many blessings in 2023. This past summer, we were able to serve nearly 2,000 campers. Thanks to our sponsors, we built a new shower house, a new playground, and began construction on a new volleyball court. During, the course of the year, nearly 375 churches benefited from our programs and facilities. Additionally, many families, businesses, and organizations used our facilities.

We give thanks to God for the countless volunteers and supporters who make camp ministry possible. The volunteers stuff envelopes, serve in the kitchen, repair equipment, pray over the ministry, and send financial support. As we look to a new year, take some time to listen to our Executive Director, Bill Klees, to hear what is next for the Woodcrest Mountain.

Camp is a great to spend your summer. Giving up a summer to serve at camp is a great spot to grow in your relationship with God, work with really awesome people, and work with kids. Woodcrest hires nearly 70 summer staff positions in many different areas including kitchen, maintenance, lifeguards, and counselors. Applications are now open. Check out our positions and apply!

January Prayer Calendar

We have become more aware of the need for a praying community. Programs and facilities can only bring the heart renewal we desire when accompanied by prayer. We have been greatly encouraged by the enthusiastic response from our community over this interactive way to pray. Please join us in praying for Woodcrest this year.

Truth Summit: A Chance to Grow

February 23-25

The Truth Summit is a space to ask questions about anything and be heard; a space to be challenged with ideas rooted in the Bible, rather than the world. Created for discussion, curated to your questions, centered on Jesus and how his Kingdom intersects with our world. Small by design. You will get to pick the brains of real people who follow Christ imperfectly but passionately.

The Truth Summit welcomes teens ages 14-16 for this winter retreat. Register on our website.

New All Year Positions

Woodcrest seeks to hire two new part time year round positions


Hospitality Coordinator

Woodcrest Retreat is seeking an individual who has an idea for detail and a passion for serving others. This position is responsible to keeping our facilities clean and read for guest use.

Housekeeping

Keeping facilities clean and ready for guest groups is the foundation of Woodcrest's guest services. Our housekeepers are responsible to ensure that the various facilities are clean after guest use and ready for incoming groups.

Save the Date: Woodcrest Banquet

Save the date for our spring Banquet on April 4th 2024. During the event we celebrate God's goodness and faithfulness. This is a great way to be involved in the ministry and support of Woodcrest Retreat.
