But did you know that worldwide, more than 260 million children – one in five – are not in school? The barriers to education are even higher for children with disabilities. Everyone should have a chance to learn. And you can help. Give today to bring learning within reach for students like 6-year-old Sufian Obed Allain, who is both deaf and blind.Your partnership with MCC helps support schools like the Holy Land Institute for the Deaf in Salt, Jordan – the only facility in Jordan that provides care and education for students who are both deaf and blind. It gives students like Sufian the chance to work one-on-one with Maram Al Falah and other teachers who tailor lessons to their students' ages and abilities and strive to help them become as independent as possible. I invite you to take a moment to reflect on all that learning can offer – whether it's the joy of new achievements or the opportunities and independence that education can provide.
