Information for leaders and congregations UPDATES These UPDATES are shared so that leaders and congregations are aware of events and information taking place in LMC, agencies, fraternal organizations, congregations, and the broader church. These announcements are for your information and to share with others in your congregation through email (below is the link), weekly bulletin, monthly newsletter, Sunday morning announcements, church website, or Facebook. Use your discretion and share what your congregation will find helpful.   Mennonite Children's Choir of Lancaster Mennonite Children's Choir of Lancaster - MCCL  is dealing with significant financial struggle due to COVID-19 and the cancellation of our spring concert season and summer tour which may impact the MCCL program next year. While we cannot share music in person, we are creatively working at a way to share music in this unexpected way so we've come up with "An Unexpected Song...Join Us!" Next week, June 8 -12,  we are hosting a five-day virtual celebration of the MCCL program and choral music.  Our heart is to share music while also invite the community to support MCCL financially. Everything will be shared through videos and photos on Facebook, Instagram, and our blog (CLICK HERE TO SEE BLOG).  Throughout the week, there will be opportunities to give. Our goal is to raise $12,500 to bridge the gap of lost revenue due to the cancellation of our spring concerts and summer tour. Any amount over this goal provides reserve funds to sustain the MCCL program as we weather the uncertainties of what choral singing may look like in the fall.
