Serve as liaison for all pantry clients and supervise all aspects of procurement, storage, and distribution of goods. | | | Join the team at Girls in the Game, where every girl finds her voice, discovers her strength, and leads with confidence through fun and active leadership, sports, and health programs. The After School Program Specialist assists by recruiting participants, communicating with parents and site contacts, and supporting part-time coaches leading site programming. | | | Assist with a variety of Immigrant Integration efforts that include adult ESL instruction, citizenship education, life-skills education, after-school tutoring for immigrant children, and helping immigrants navigate local institutions and options for their families at the Immigrant Resource Center. This position requires at least moderate fluency in Spanish, both oral and written, with an openness to increasing fluency. | | | Manage the flow of food intake and outtake from La Puente Home, a food bank, as the Emergency Food Coordinator. This entails providing families with food resources, assisting in harvesting programs, fundraising for food donations, overseeing volunteers, and being responsible for the general upkeep of the food bank. This position is essential in providing families in crisis with needed food assistance. | | | Work in partnership with families to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty through the Homeless Prenatal Program. Housing program services include lifting barriers to obtaining housing, advising clients on their housing search, assisting with move-in costs, and providing household budget counseling. | | | Faith in Action Bay Area is looking for an organizer to work with congregations as we advocate for housing, and to end homelessness, in San Francisco. A person who is bilingual in Spanish and English would be ideal, but those who only speak English are also most welcome. | | | Assist refugee families at RAICES in completing applications for U.S. Lawful Permanent Residence, spend time in Immigration Court to receive referrals for individuals who are in removal proceedings, and occasionally travel to the South Texas Detention Complex to assist attorneys with legal screenings and intake. The legal assistant will also have opportunities to work with asylum-seekers, unaccompanied immigrant juveniles, and survivors of crime, including domestic violence and human trafficking. | | | Support the work of Academia Menonita Betania, a private, bilingual, Christian school serving around 160 students from kindergarten through ninth grade. Placements include teaching and/or administrative work. | | | | |
