View this email in your browser Giving Thanks Spring is Upon Us Spring is just around the corner as we prepare for the opening of our campground on April 5. In the midst of the busyness of our preparation, we are giving thanks to God for our awesome volunteers and partners. This has been an amazing spring with many improvements and beneficial events. This spring, a new sand volleyball court was installed, new changing stalls for our pool guests and day camp program, and new improvements have begun on our outdoor nature program area. In March we held a spring senior day which was greatly enjoyed by our local community seniors. The School of Wonder program continues to grow. We are preparing for our busy field trip season yet this May. None of this would be possible without our community. Thank you! See More of our Future Improvement Plans Ministry Leaders Conference Registration Closing April 12 April 16th The Woodcrest Ministry Conference is only weeks away on April 16. Join us for this day of fellowship and community for local leaders. Church, nonprofit, and volunteers of ministries are welcomed to attend. Listen to dynamic speakers, share, pray, and worship with other leaders who are building the Kingdom. Registration closes on April 12. See our website for more information. Register Summer Camp is Filling Up! Summer Camp 2024 is currently 80% full. Reserve your spot for day camp, overnight, or outbound camps. Register online and reserve your spot for an awesome summer. Information and to Register Sumer Camp Open House May 11th Interested in camp and want to find out more? Attend our Summer Camp Open House on May 11th 9am-12pm. For Open House Questions Summer Youth Group Pool Party Are you a youth leader or volunteer looking for a fun summer activity for your youth group? Join us for our youth group summer pool party! This will be a fun night of volleyball, a message, worship, and pool fun. Sign up your youth group on our website. Register Benefit Golf Tournament May 9th We look forward to welcoming you to a great day of golf, networking, and raising funds for Woodcrest Retreat's summer camp ministry that reaches 2,000 campers with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Snacks are provided throughout the afternoon and a full steak and chicken dinner is served during the award reception where prizes are given out. Register to support camp! Register for the Golf Tournament Parent/Child Canoe Trip May 30th 10am-3pm Spring is a beautiful time to canoe down the Schuylkill River. Join us for this parent/child canoe trip. The day will include snacks, games, use of the Woodcrest life jackets, and shuttling to drop in and take out spots. This is a guided canoe trip alongside Woodcrest staff.
