Back to School Bash We want to kick this school year off right!  There will be haircuts, dental and health screenings and backpacks for elementary school children from the Cocalico School District at the Lighthouse Youth Center.  Certain conditions apply to dental and health screening and UGI will be giving out backpacks to the first 50 1st -5th graders.  Students that receive backpacks and/or screenings will be eligible for FREE haircuts.  Hot dogs, Goldfish crackers and drinks will be free for all students.  Please see details for health screenings,  See you downtown Denver! What a Success! Weis Markets raises $878 for the Declaration House On Saturday,July 20th, the employees of Weis Markets on North Reading Road in Ephrata hosted a fundraiser to benefit the Declaration House project.  Managers Kyle Bowers and Mike Bartram both worked hard to feed the crowds while their staff collected donations and kept the customers happy.  Thank you, Weis Markets, for helping us get closer to the $3.5 million goal. It's actually almost done!  The first 5 families will be moving into the Declaration House this month.  Ribbon Cutting will be held on Tuesday, August 27th at 11 am.  An Open House will follow that afternoon from 4-7 pm for those who would like to tour our new offices and the new Denver Health Center.  We are still $59,000 short of the $3.541,000 goal,so there is time to get your name on the donor wall.  Just hit Declaration House and give! Give to the Declaration House Project Are you ready for the DENVER FAIR! These people can't WAIT.  The REAL Icy Treats booth will be at the Denver Fair September 10-14, with our FAMOUS milkshakes and cones.  We are still in need of volunteers 18 years of age and over for 4 hour shifts during the fair.  If you are interested, please email sue@reallcs.org We can't wait to serve you!
